Why I Started Comree

I started COMREE because I was on a mission to create my dream wallet—something I could finally be proud to carry.

Growing up, I used to own big, bulky wallets from Target. They were never appealing, and I didn’t think much about my wallet or appearance.

In fact, I often found myself hesitating to bring my wallet along because it was something I didn’t want anyone to see.

As minimalist wallets became popular, I jumped on the trend, but I quickly discovered that they weren’t quite right for me. They often made accessing my cards a hassle and didn’t have slots for things like paper business cards.

Still, I used these wallets for years, until one day I realized I wanted something better—something that didn’t exist yet.

That’s when the idea for COMREE was born. I set out to create a wallet that combined the best features of the wallets I’d been using with my own personal touch, upgrading them into something truly unique.

COMREE stands for “compact” and “carry”—two words that perfectly capture our mission. We design everyday carry items that are compact, practical, and above all, enjoyable to use.
